The mission of the Sentara Leadership Institute is to intentionally develop leaders who are superbly equipped to create and sustain a culture of excellence – for our customers and their families. This program is designed for high-potential health administration students/graduates seeking to gain valuable experience through assignments that will raise their visibility within the organization. Fellows can expect to:
Candidates must have completed or be on target to complete an MHA, MHA/MBA, or MBA (preferably with a concentration and/or experience in healthcare management) from an accredited graduate program. The application process begins in early August for consideration to join the program in June of the following year.
For MHA students the position will be posted in early July 2019 and will remain posted until September. Applications and a resume must be received by the deadline. The Administrative Fellowship program lasts for one year, and to qualify, candidates must complete, or be on target to complete, an MHA, MHA/MBA prior to beginning the fellowship.
